Sofia,
I have found your blog through a Google search. I am writing in english, because I would like to avoid some of the people that post bad comments here to understand me completely.
I am a dual citizenship owner (brazilian by birth and german, inherited from my father) currently still living in Brazil, and I am considering migrating to the UK due to the ease of access that my german passport can provide me.
People I met here who lived in the UK have told me (and I have read about it, too) that with my german passport it is possible for me to live and find work in the UK without any difficulties.
As you can notice, I speak english fluently. My field of work is IT related (computers). But I have been watching the news closely here in Brazil, and it appears there will be some changes in the british parlament, regarding UK and immigrants. It seems that some political parties have taken very radical positions against immigrants.
Before I make my final decision, could you kindly help me, by clarifying how is the current situation regarding UK leaving the european community (the news here reported that some UK politicians expressed their wish for it to happen), and also, how does the global financial crisis affect jobs in London?
I appreciate any comments you may have regarding the above matters. If you wish to reply in a more personal way, you can do so by using the e-mail address that I have specified. If you choose to do so, please do not publish this comment on your website, if possible.
Yours faithfully,
Werner
